Communication Specialist - Global financial provider

My client is a well-established global financial services provider with an excellent reputation for the delivery of Insurance, Life and Investments portfolios. Due to ongoing growth within their marketing and communications team, they are looking for a Communications Specialist to join their team!

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be a strategic thinker with a natural ability to write compelling and engaging communication for your audience. You will drive, manage and create the monthly newsletter, which is a key component of the role, and follow up with tracking and analysis of the ongoing results. In addition you will also write presentations, digital and social channel updates and oversee customer facing content on the website along with other collateral on an ad hoc basis.

To succeed in this role you will need to be a strong communicator, with demonstrable written communication skills and an absolute passion for writing! You will have in-depth knowledge of marketing and communication channels, both internally and externally, including social media. Solid product/service management ability and an understanding of the financial services and/or insurance sectors would be highly regarded. You will also be tertiary qualified, have strong attention to detail, be a multi-tasker and be self-motivated with a “roll up your sleeves” mentality.
