Communication Manager

As a key member of our clients Business Retention Marketing team, this person will be vital in ensuring long term, profitable relationships with our business subscribers through developing, implementing and managing communication strategies and programs that effectively communicate our clients unrivaled entertainment experience, benefits of being their customer customer and additional activities or tactics that impact the customer experience.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and execute current customer marketing communication plans that increase awareness of our clients features and benefits for our non-residential customers. Plan will meet unique requirements for each of our business verticals; Public, Private, Lodging & Institutions.
• Work with a variety of internal and external partners such as Marketing, Customer Care management and programmer partners to create, coordinate, and develop meaningful and relevant communications. Ensuring that exclusive content and other unique benefits and assets are effectively promoted.
• Working with retention program managers develop and manage subscriber programs that engage customers and foster brand loyalty.
• Manage the design and development of the monthly customer newsletter. Develop content strategy and work with agency to create monthly publication to 14M customers.
• Manage the communication and delivery of annual customer agreement updates or changes.
• Responsible for the communication of changes to customer programming or equipment due to technology or contract requirements.
• Manage billing communication including statement messages, and targeted promotional messages.

Qualifications:

• Requires 3-5 years of consumer marketing experience in the entertainment, programming, broadcast, DBS, Cable or related content delivery industries that includes a very strong background in and detailed knowledge of subscription-based services and marketing to current customers using direct tactics.
• Must be well versed in both on and off line communication channels and possess the qualitative and quantitative skills necessary to analyze marketing ROI reports and recommend solutions.
• Candidates must possess outstanding communication, presentation, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with diverse and cross-functional groups
• Understand and work within an operational environment to accomplish goals and objectives
• Ability to champion ideas and execute in an expedited timeframe
• Proficiency in Standard MS Office applications
• Some travel may be required
