Communication Analyst

The qualified candidate will support the review of newly developed and existing Medicare beneficiary templates (standard and custom).

Timely and accurate review of test and “live” data proofs (PDF images) for correctness of verbiage, data accuracy, data mapping and composition logic (variable information populating based on data elements, or “flags”, from the data file). Proofs are checked against approved templates for new (implementations) and existing (maintenance) clients. The contingent position will partner with the Member Communications Operations Production Team to ensure that CMS (federal) compliance and regulatory metrics are met. Clearly communicate inaccuracies in proofs using Adobe Acrobat.

Be sensitive to project deadlines during this peak, high-volume period. There will be a large volume of PDF images to review for this position.
Must be flexible to meet deadlines by putting in extra effort, sometimes on short notice. Work is targeted within Monday through Friday with overtime being a strong possibility. Weekend work is a strong possibility to meet deadlines. All work is performed on desktop personal computers in the office [dual monitors]. Work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team.

This position develops and edits internal communications; and facilitates the review of internal messaging through the Communications Approval Process (CAP). This position works closely with various business owners to ensure all internal communications meet Caremark positioning and branding standards. This position also leads projects to ensure the goals and objectives of the organization are met in servicing the customer.
Duties
Strong writing and editing skills consistent with AP style. Stong verbal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional interpersonal skills are required. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and prioritize projects, and meet deadlines. Proficient in MS office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Project management a plus.
Experience
Minimum one year business communications experience preferably related to healthcare. Skilled in managing and prioritizing multiple projects.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications or related field OR equivalent work experience preferred.
