Commercial Communications Manager (Bilingual in English/French)

This role is a key contributor to the success of Microsoft Canada in the commercial space. The role will develop and execute best-in-class, multi-channel, integrated marketing solutions created to drive results against the global marketing objectives. As a commercial marketing and communications manager at Microsoft Canada, you will be required to roll up your sleeves and THINK BIG!

The role requires creativity, innovation, initiative, project management and the ability to develop strong relationships with wide network of stakeholders both in Canada and worldwide. Your success will be defined by your ability to build and deliver marketing plans, leading with a customer centric approach that addresses the needs and concerns of Microsoft’s customers, in alignment with the business objectives and internal stakeholders.

Experience in marketing and project management, as well as strong multi-tasking capabilities make you an ideal fit. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves and drilling into the details to deliver optimal results. Must be bilingual English-French.

Marketing
• Assist in developing campaign project plans and execution including managing agency relationships, monitoring campaign performance, and implementing recommendations for campaign optimization.
• Execute campaigns within budgetary limits and in adherence to timelines.
• Assist with maintaining and evolving communication messaging and creating a consistent voice throughout campaign initiatives.
• Develop integrated marketing briefs for agencies & internal stakeholders.
• Budget Management (forecasting, accruals, invoicing)
• Analysis on marketing ROI and business impact

Project Management & Execution Orchestration
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with agencies and stakeholder to ensure executional excellence and the achievement of business objectives.
• Coordinate all internal M&O shared services including digital, web, events and analytics team.
• Prepare and present in-depth work back schedules which include timing, scope of work, and milestones.
• Assist in interfacing with all internal clients (segments, audience managers, BG’s) to solicit feedback and approvals on concepts/objectives/creative in a timely manner with minimal errors.
• Coordinate approvals with legal, branding and privacy teams and ensure all feedback is implemented in campaign.
• Ensure key relationships are maintained with corporate peers in order to keep up-to-date on global communications and best practices.
• Assist Microsoft Management to ensure each deliverable shall be factually accurate as submitted.
• Each Deliverable shall not contain any information, instruction or formula that might be injurious to anyone’s physical well-being or that might defame or infringe or violate any rights (including those in respect of privacy, publicity and personality) of any person, product, service, company or third party.
• The Services and Deliverables will not give rise to any obligation, including payment of any sums, to any third party by Microsoft or Microsoft’s affiliates.

Marketing Support
• Help the team to develop and execute on integrated marketing campaigns within budgetary limits and in adherence to timelines.
• Assist with maintaining and evolving messaging and creating a consistent voice throughout campaign initiatives.
• Analyze data and trends to apply in development of integrated marketing campaigns.
• Develop execution optimizations, prepare and present thorough post campaign analysis.
• Budget Management (forecasting, accruals, invoicing)
• Analysis on marketing ROI and business impact
• Prepare and present in-depth work back schedules which include timing, scope of work, and milestones.
• Excellence in execution with the proven capability to leverage the work of others in addition to creating and sharing best practices.
• Thorough understanding of internal execution & processes
