Cognos TM1 Developer

-The jobholder will also work closely with the Cognos operations team and provide support to them on new and existing applications. 
-Working closely with stakeholders to specify and building changes to the Global Reporting system in accordance with the Group’s design principles as part of both BAU and the transformation program. 
-Testing changes to a SOx standard and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure user acceptance 
-Documenting code changes and working with operations team to release into live environment. 
-Must be a good communicator & able to work in complex multi-national organization 
-Develop and updated system documentation along with training materials as required 
-Reports to Development manager, WBA Global Finance systems lead and Project managers. 
-Interfaces with all levels of WBA organization and management 
-Interfaces with WBA’s Divisions 
o Retail Pharmacy USA 
o Retail Pharmacy International 
o Pharmaceutical Wholesale 
o Corporate Group 
 Following business standards, convert user requirements into detailed changes across structures, forms & reports. 
 Liaising with stakeholders & users to test. Assist with migrating approved changes across to the operational team for release into production. 
 Strong communication skills 
 Support the Director, Global Finance Systems and work with Head of Global Finance Work cross-functionally with divisions on initiatives and new projects, to ensure standardization (SOP’s) are effectively utilized if applicable when helping each business unit. 
 Document procedures and processes appropriately to build a library of solutions that future business units can leverage. 
 Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or equivalent. 
 At least 4 years experience with Cognos TM1 development 
 Working knowledge of consolidated financial reporting and its related data, data repositories, and financial consolidation tools (e.g., Cognos, TM1, HFM, etc.). 
 Proven analytic and quantitative decision-making skills. 
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with senior team members. 
 Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment, and the ability to balance and prioritize work on multiple projects. 
 Gather and document business requirements. 
 Participate in meetings and facilitate discussions with stakeholders across divisions. 
 Develop various types of required documentation for meetings, deliverables and presentations. 
 TRAVEL required up to 25% at times potentially requiring weekend stays abroad (UK) Start Time: 12:00 AM 
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
