Position- Direct Support Specialist- AKA- bug finder!
Location-Menlo Park- ON-SITE REQUIRED. NO OPTION TO WORK REMOTE.
Start date-1/9/17
Duration- 6 months with likely extension
Type- Contract
Work is to be done onsite. Remote is not an option.
Local candidates only please
Hourly pay rate range- $23hr Max
Qualified candidates will have current work authorization and not require sponsorship now or in the future


This TOP Social Networking Company is seeking smart, analytical, and self-motivated professionals who are passionate about investigating and uncovering solutions for technical issues for a contract position on our Product Operations team. You will work on a support team focused on delivering high-quality resolutions for technical experiences for our community.

Things to Know:
Qualified candidate is familiar with code - you'll be identifying bugs in the code
The team is growing extensively and needs your help!
You'll sit alongside engineers and managers so you must sit in the office to collaborate
Standard business hours 9-5 some OT
Bachelors degree required, preferably in math or engineering
QA background is desired
You'll be reviewing page after page of code

Skills:
Experienced with technical troubleshooting
Passionate about building high-quality products and user experiences
Curious and investigative mindset, eager to solve problems
Detail oriented with a drive for high-quality output
Comfortable working in fast-paced environment; able to adapt to change quickly
Strong writing skills, including complete command of English grammar and mechanics
Able to effectively multi-task and remain cool under pressure
Self-starter with proven organizational and problem-solving skills
Dedicated to ensuring community members receive a superior product experience
Demonstrate leadership through proactively providing operational feedback to deliver efficiency gains
Effectively share knowledge and learnings with team
Previous unconventional customer service experience a plus (i.e. Zappos, Amex Concierge, etc.)

Education:
Bachelor's degree
1-3 years of work experience
