Aquent's client, an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products, is seeking a Co-Marketing Specialist for a 6–month assignment.
Pay: Up to 49.50/hr. DOE

We operate as a startup, exploring interesting new ways of marketing a new service. The role
We are looking for a dynamic marketing professional to help drive adoption of an emerging product in the commerce space. You’ll support marketing campaigns to drive acquisitions. You will work with a cross-functional team across product management, engineering, user research, marketing, PR, and more to shape how product is marketed to users.

You should have strong strategic and creative skills, as the role enables you to design and run creative campaigns to promote our service. In addition, you should have an analytical mindset with experience in Excel/Google Sheets and with cross-functional project planning. You also have experience managing partner / client relationships and a passion for working with retailers and brands. You will be expected to be a doer as well as a thinker, who does not settle for the expected and conventional, but works to own delivery and push ideas beyond the norm.

Role overview
You’ll develop and launch campaigns as part of acquisition efforts, including co-marketing initiatives (activities for & with our merchants and partners) as well as email marketing, direct mail, partnerships and other channels. Includes strategy for and execution of large-scale, broadly-reaching marketing campaigns with the goal of user acquisition and driving volume.

The role will also entail being a primary marketing point of contact with our merchant partners and developing co-marketing campaigns to drive volume for them.

You will manage strategic development, creative ideation on what channels we should be “hacking” to grow our business, initiative preparation, client management (and ongoing relationship building), logistics, program management and measurement.

Top responsibilities:
- Manage co-marketing campaigns with merchant partners, as main point of contact for key retailers owning strategy and execution
- Deliver scaled direct response marketing campaigns that have high reach and generate significant sales volume
- Own designated marketing channels that deliver acquisitions and execute/optimize within them over time

Detailed responsibilities:
- Manage marketing programming with several merchants, including broadly-reaching acquisitions efforts e.g. email marketing, direct mail, couponing, signage, etc.
- Includes creative ideation, program planning, coordinating with client/internal teams and execution
- Manage all logistics - e.g. working with merchandising/operations/other cross-functional teams), measurement, coupon creation etc.
- Coordinate with the engagement team on how to extend the lifetime value of consumers acquired via co-marketing efforts (manage the “hand-off”)
- Work with the business development team to execute partner marketing campaigns w/ like minded brands/companies designed to bring in a large # of acquisitions
- Manage reporting of campaigns, being able to constantly give team updates against our goals across all programs (and how to optimize our channels)
- Budget management (ensuring execution stays inside of set budget, monitoring invoices, inputting costs into program plan trixes)
- Assist with post-program deliverables including but not limited to aggregating feedback, measuring reach and acquisition, communicating success/optimization opportunities to broader team

Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree (no specific field required)
- 5-7+ years experience within a strong marketing team (either client or agency side), with expertise in the conception and execution of direct response marketing campaigns focused on user acquisition
- 5-7 years experience managing or leading client/partner relationships
- Experience with co-marketing (retail / brand partnerships, etc)
- Strong creative sensibility that is results-minded - should be able to showcase creative advertising/campaign examples that they have worked on that have driven results for the brand/company
- Analytical skills - ability to put together forecasting for campaigns you’re planning in terms of what volume we could expect to see based on benchmarks, establish testing plans to optimize learnings from campaigns, and deliver solid analytics at the end of campaigns showing the impact
- Solid experience with campaign ideation and execution
- Strong organizational skills and expertise managing logistics and details for marketing campaigns
- Ability to execute with excellence and work w/ cross-functional teams seamlessly

Nice to have:
- Brand building / awareness marketing
- PR experience or experience delivering campaigns that required a distribution strategy to get earned media
- Has experience in targeting user groups with specific campaigns
- Flexibility, can think on feet to come up with solutions, willing to pivot depending on how campaigns/channels are performing
