Cloud Social Media Support Specialist

Aquent's client, a large tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Cloud Social Media Support Specialist for a 6–month assignment at either their Chicago, IL or San Francisco, CA locations.

They are looking social media support specialists who can help them listen and support customers on social media. This role will involve executing on diverse responsibilities within an social media team.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities
1. Interface with and support customers inquiries from social media.
2. Troubleshoot and appropriately escalate issues.
3. Respond to general inquiries and generate potential leads.

Additional Responsibilities
- Follow and maintain operational documentation, including approved messaging
- Supply data for reports on top social media issues, on request
- Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders on project progress

Key Skills and Requirements
- BA in Marketing Communications, English or Public Relations
- 2-3 years of sales and support in a customer facing role in a social media environment
- Strong working knowledge of Twitter
- Fluent in English with strong emphasis on writing skills that include proper grammar, attention to detail, and the ability to be concise yet thorough
- Ability to explain complicated technical matters in layman's terms
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail strictly required
- Excellent team work skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Creative problem solver
- Able to work without much supervision

Nice to have
- Technical background is a plus
