Cloud Platform Market Development Representative

Overview:
This is a front-line customer-facing role responsible for the “first touch” a potential prospect will receive from the Platform team. The Market Development specialist will liaise and collaborate cross-functionally with sales teams, partner management and marketing for optimum account coverage and penetration in the strategic account space. Develops and executes upon a cohesive go-to-market strategy which includes, but isn’t limited to:
Profile accounts on current IT footprint
Segment accounts strategically by sales play
Develops well-defined end-to-end approach to target prospect key accounts
Engages and leverages strong relationships with partners and extended team
Liaises with marketing on framework for key account-based marketing programs

Top Daily Responsibilities:
Account Profiling: Work jointly with sales counterparts in profiling and ranking accounts for technology/market fit
Conducts end to end key account research to better grasp landscape and business drivers
Deep integration and cross-functional collaboration with field peers in developing joint go-to-market (GTM) strategy
Establish coverage and engage senior line of business and IT executives in key target accounts
Develops targeted sales campaign approach with solution focused messaging

Additional Responsibilities will include:
Implement key outreach techniques to generate introductory meetings with key decision makers on behalf of field account team
Develop strong market / vertical/ account knowledge to effectively engage key decision makers and
Liaise with marketing on event and campaign execution
Own event follow-ups within agreed SLA with marketing


Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with the Cloud Market
- Professional Fluency in Spanish and English, (must be able to communicate written, and verbally in both Spanish and English)
- Bachelor’s degree (no specific degree required)
- 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing and or business development preferably at a high-tech company (SaaS sales experience highly desirable)
- 1+ years of experience in CRM experience
- Thrives on working in a high pressure and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Goal oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, competitive, tenacious and proactive
- Able to work independently but within a team environment

- Bright, energetic professional with an aptitude for strategic thinking and a focus on quantitative impacts
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines
