Client Services Account Executive (Biotechnology)

Department:     Brand + Creative Communications

Reports into:    Head of Operations

Experienced Client Services professional to help lead the evolution of our ever-growing Brand + Creative Communications team. Your expertise in client relationships + project management excellence will put you in close partnership with our internal and external stakeholders to manage projects through their lifecycle. The strategies, campaigns, product launches, tradeshows, and marketing projects we work on make a real quantifiable difference to our clients, and you will be their critical “success partner” at the forefront of it all, dealing directly with integrated communication managers (ICM), marketing and brand teams on a daily, or even hourly basis. You will be the single point of contact to give our clients a consistent and exceptional experience engaging with our team.

Core responsibilities

  • Ensure permanent client “delight”
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with clients through honest, clear and substantive communication
  • Manage multiple areas of business and multiple projects at any given time to ensure they are on strategy, on time, and on budget
  • Monitor client state-of-mind on each project and the Brand + Creative Communications team itself to identify potential issues early and resolve them quickly
  • Develop proposals for services, including timelines, budget (and get them approved)
  • Develop, schedule, and participate in client presentation materials
  • Plan and track a range of projects by collaborating with creative team members, including strategic partner and traffic manager



  • BS or BA in advertising, communications, marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years in product management on client side (medical devices, pharma, biotech)
  • 5+ years account management experience in an agency environment
  • Understanding of 360-degree marketing initiatives and the tools and resources needed to successfully deliver them
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with workflow management software (Workfront)
  • Experience with Adobe CC is a plus
