Client-Centric Marketing (CCM) Manager Support - Maternity Cover (12 months)

Overview:
Our Client’s team drives impactful client-focused marketing programmes designed to energise client relationships, sales and business development. We do this through:
• Bid support (Opportunity Centric Marketing) including message development, visual identity for bids and developing creative materials to illustrate our solutions to clients
• Client relationship development (Client Centric Marketing) - a strategic programme of marketing activity developed with an account team around the expectations and perceptions of one client
• Social media training for Leadership and account teams
• Supporting tools and activities – the Hub, research and insight tools.

This team sits within the UKI Geo Marketing & Communications team.

This Manager role will lead a variety of programmes under one banner, with a particular emphasis on leading CCM programmes. The role is one of both strategic marketing and practical marketing execution. This person will work with Client’s account teams and CSG marketing leads to define how the programme opportunities can be applied. Candidates must be able to translate what they learn about specific clients (e.g. competitive environment, buyer values, perceptions of our Client, etc.) into a set of marketing objectives around which programmes can be built. Then, collaborating with a team of internal and external parties, the CCM programme lead will take a hands-on approach to implement those initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the programme marketing teams to identify opportunities to deliver CCM support
• CCM strategy development – work with Leadership teams to create bespoke marketing relationship plans for key clients to meet business objectives
• Establish the right mix of activities to build long-term plans for client outreach to build sustainable relationships
• Define targeted, marketing strategies help account teams influence the thinking of clients
• Provide strategic guidance to account teams regarding positioning and communications
• Conduct message development sessions to clarify and improve existing messages
• Work effectively with senior stakeholders and 3rd party vendors to drive execution of CCM strategy and the creation of marketing deliverables
• Estimate programme costs, create and manage programme budgets
• Capture best practices from programmes worked on to share with peers
• Report on programme activities regularly to central team for programme tracking purposes
• Lead and manage programmes and team members within the programme team as required
• Drive engagement of our Client’s Social Champions and Digital Buddies programme with MD population
• Manage the Hub site developing a content editorial plan and manage 3rd party agency for execution
• Finance and budget control for C4G programme

Knowledge and skills required:
• Expert at integrated marketing strategy development
• Expert in branding and message development.
• Strong and deep overall business acumen and good knowledge of our Client’s area of business and overall business strategy
• Excellent working experience of all aspects of marketing and communications, especially advertising, internet marketing, social media, internal communications, collateral production, credential development and recruitment marketing
• Expert project management skills
• Creative and lateral thinker
• Good writing and communications skills
• Ability to put structure around ambiguously defined thoughts/situations
• Critical thinker who is willing to speak their mind when they disagree
• Quick learner that is interested in gaining new skills
• Strong English written and verbal skills
• Able to influence highest levels of leadership within our Client’s large, matrixed organisation through relationship building and strong executive-level presence

Qualifications:

Education: University educated.
Work Experience: Extensive experience in marketing, business development and/or marketing communications roles, more recently leading team members.
