Cinematics Scripter

We are looking for a Cinematic Technical Artist for next generation console game development. The ideal candidate will have at least three years working in the video games industry. You should have a strong working knowledge of scripting in a 3D package as well as a broad understanding of the technical issues spanning both engineering and art. A well-rounded, multi-skilled background is essential with both technical and artistic capabilities, with a specialization in cinematic and scripted event implementation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Implement and debug scripted and cinematic events.
Work with and anticipate the needs of the level designers so as to streamline their productivity.
Collaborate with animation and engineering team.
Maintain character art and animation production workflows and technical art pipeline documentation.
Bring innovation and resolution to technical problems and challenges throughout production
Work with project leads daily to improve production pipeline.
Understand the limits dictated by programming staff or project leads.
Develop and implement new ideas/technologies/solutions, seeing them to completion.
Participate in the critiquing of your work and the work of others.
Commitment to making art data production as simple and effective for general artists to create over the entire length of a project.
Be meticulous and organized in the approach to the tasks, files and storage of the material.
Be technically savvy with a track record of strong problem solving skills
Have the forward-thinking ability to research new industry developments and art techniques for future projects.
