Our client, Wharton (at UPenn) is looking for a solid Chinese Fluent Web Designer / Developer to join their team on a freelance basis.
The Project: Wharton (a part of UPenn) is looking for a candidate to build a 4-page microsite for their new executive training programs in China. They will provide translated text but would prefer that the person populating the web content can read what they’re posting in Chinese, to avoid unnecessary errors/delays. They are looking for professional and polished work that can represent the Wharton brand. Whoever steps into this role won’t be completely responsible for the UX of this microsite, BUT we will be asking them to partner with us to create the wireframes for a homepage and three program pages. The right candidate must be able to code HTML and either A) build web pages / landing pages from scratch or B) work within a WordPress theme.
Start Date: as soon as the right fit is found
Hours / Duration: 30-40 hours over a 1 month timeline (based on project workload)
- must speak fluent Chinese
- must have a strong online portfolio of websites you've designed AND coded
- experience creating wireframes, designing websites, and coding either status HTML pages (ex: Bootstrap framework) or within a WordPress theme
- experience working within corporate brand guidelines is a major plus!
