Singlehandedly credited with creating some of the most impactful products of this generation, this leader in consumer electronics is looking for a Channel Partner Comms Project Manager for a 6-month assignment. This internal Marketing Communications team is looking for an experienced project manager to oversee the development of a new external facing partner tool. Job Summary: The Partner Communications Project Manager, will act as the day-to-day project point person for the Partner Comms team managing deliverables and communicating the status of the Partner Portal project. This role will serve as the liaison between the Partner Comms team and the functional teams supporting the Partner Portal. Responsibilities will include working with all stakeholders to define the scope of the project, tracking project status, managing project milestones, identifying bottlenecks, scheduling status meetings, and communicating progress across the group. Key Qualifications: • Superior project management skills • Experience working with technical teams and new systems development • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly • Flexibility in accommodating rapid change • Strong written, interpersonal and negotiation skills • Ability to be proactive and problem solve • Proven ability to create and implement new department workflows • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to organize information quickly and at a high level • Experience working in a creative department; skilled at working with creative teams • Understanding and appreciation of the creative development process • Experience working with interactive and web design • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization • Must be able to multi-task, with proven effectiveness working under pressure • Familiarity with Agile development • Ability to manage through diplomacy • Comfortable working within and leading large multi-functional team meetings Responsibilities: • Work with all stakeholders to develop project scope • Coordinate with functional teams on a master schedule • Synthesize major updates, deliverables, and important action items to the Partner Comms team lead • Manage master milestone calendar • Coordinate with Functional Project Managers on key milestones • Identify conflict with schedules, and escalate to the Partner Communications team lead • Ensure project remains in scope and escalate any roadblocks • Looking ahead, forecasting milestones, negotiating conflicts • Facilitate reviews and all connection points including scope, attendees, location, facilities, materials • Responsible for taking key meeting notes and distributing, when relevant • Prepare weekly status overview for the Partner Communications team lead and Marcom stakeholders • Facilitate weekly team meetings Requirements: • This position requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent. • Minimum of 7 - 9 years working with creative teams and new systems development in an agency environment. • Strong understanding of such Apple applications as Mail, Numbers, Keynote, Pages and Calendar. • Strong understanding of project management tools • Marcom and interactive experience a plus • Experience working on project that involved IS&T also a plus
