Channel Marketing Specialist / Junior Analyst

Our client, the world’s largest dedicated security technology company, is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join their Channel and Marketing Operations team to report and analyze data relating to multiple ongoing and future channel profitability programs. This is a great opportunity for a Junior Marketer to expand their experience in a globally known technology leader!

The Channel Marketing Specialist will:
- Lead or play a contributing role on multiple cross-functional teams, working with members within accounting, finance, operations, sales, marketing, IT, and support departments.
- First, seek to understand the channel programs being analyzed, understand the meaning of the data analyzed, provide guidance to channel management, and be a major contributor to the strategic direction and decision-making within multiple channel programs.
- Lead initiatives by seeking ideas from team members, formulating strategic program reporting plans and metrics themselves, then socializing these plans with the team and managing report delivery.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The individual in this role MUST have at least two years of experience in reporting and analysis in a two-tier channel environment.

Responsibilities & Duties :
• Locate and access relevant program data from a multitude of system sources
• Aggregate, “groom”, and correlate/concatenate large amounts of data from a multitude of data sources
• Perform analysis of complex data sets
• Support in the establishment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for multiple programs and measure program health against historical reports and industry norms at various intervals.
• Draw conclusions from reports, communicate report data, and make recommendations to channel management on programs’ direction, needs, issues, and resolutions.
• Assemble, prepare, and present findings in a useful format for review by channel management, presenting both high-level information as well as “deep-dives” into data as needed.
• Provide decision support, aiding the WW Go-to-Market Strategy team & Sales/Channels Executives to understand key operational and financial trends/metrics in the business, as well as evaluation of business strategies.
• Business Case Modeling: Design and create financial models including partner performance, segmentation, coverage, bookings and expenses that can be used by senior management for decision making and strategic planning.
• Budget tracking: Measure budget utilization against budget allocations and provide regular reports to channel management.
• Ad Hoc: Be able to produce business analysis for one-time requests and assist in various special projects as needed.
Ability to derive business trends from data and drill down on problem or opportunity areas.
• Make recommendations and potentially support initiatives to automate reporting of KPIs and other data at regular intervals for more timely and efficient reporting efforts over time.
• Vendor management
• Management of prioritization of vendor system change requests
• Liaising with channel program managers around the globe to gather feedback and relay pertinent information
• Oversee MDF (Market Development Fund) claim processing and auditing

• This is a 6 month, full-time, W-2 contract position located in Santa Clara, CA
• This position is not eligible for telecommute or offsite work
