Channel Marketing Manager (11 months)

Our client, a leading global technology organization, is looking to take on a UK & Ireland Channel Marketing Manager for an 11-month contract, based in central London. Working in close cooperation with the sales team leads, you will be responsible for managing the channel marketing and storefront operations in the UK & Ireland, implementing customer experience strategy across the retail channel.

Responsibilities:
• Support the retail strategy by driving the POS operations, from store tiering, POS needs assessment and planning as well as deployment to compliance maintenance.
• Online and offline channel activities including building quarterly demand generation plans to support the UK & Ireland retail growth targets.
• Building channel advocacy by managing field marketing, planning and organizing sales training and events.
• Supporting partners and managing vendor relationships to deliver a premium experience at every customer touch point.
• Lead Merchandising Operations at a European level, looking after POS Production, POS Demo units order management and Quality Audit across all channels to deliver the best in class in-store execution at all times.

Requirements:
• Proven track record of retail POS and marketing execution
• Ability to cope with high ­level strategy, down to details; strong business analytical skills
• Strong understanding of the importance of brand positioning and product marketing.
• Demonstrable success in tactical problem solving capabilities through concrete initiatives, along with organizational skills
• Strong understanding of budgeting and planning activities
• Proficient in MS Excel, Keynote and Google docs
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English
• Frequent travel will be required (up to15%)
