Change Manager SME

Aquent’s innovative strategy and technology consulting firm client in the D.C. area is looking for a Change Management Manager for a long-term contract. The Change Management Manager will focus on providing organizational change management support on projects in internally facing to government consulting firm. Overall, the Change Management Manager will provide clients with plans and direction (and executing on those plans) for minimizing the negative impacts changes have on organizational performance, new processes and tools, and employees in their day-to -day jobs. Specifically, the Change Management Manager will:
• Plan and conduct stakeholder analysis
• Develop initial Change Management Plan and define activities needed to execute and sustain change tactics
• Develop collateral in the form of FAQs, tip cards, webinar materials, presentations, etc.
• Draft communications for email announcements and internal publications
• Develop, review and provide feedback on end user support artifacts
• Engage functional SME or L&D to develop training content; post training materials and collateral on SharePoint sites (or other document repositories) to make it available to the end user
• Use Yammer as a communication platform or support a YamJam
• Establish Change Agent Programs
• Plan and support pilot programs, specifically participant selection, development of artifacts, scheduling feedback mechanisms, and providing recommendations
• Support/execute technology demos, focus groups, and/or table top exercises as defined in the Change Management plan
• Support ongoing feedback loops (i.e. online survey, 1:1 interviews, focus groups, roundtables, etc.), analyze data and report on trends, develop recommendations to modify change management tactics where appropriate
• Develop briefings to communicate change impact to senior leadership

QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of practical change management work on projects
• 1-3 years experience doing change management in the technical / IT space
• Experience with delivering change management tactics such as:
o Communications
o Training (i.e., FAQs, quick reference guides, user guides)
o Stakeholder engagement
o Socialization and buy-in
o Feedback loops (i.e. on-line surveys, interviews, focus groups)
• Ability to learn quickly how a tool/software functions and assist in executing change management tactics (communications and training) in support of the new tool and new business processes
• Ability to quickly learn the client’s business and the needs of the business around the specific project
• Possession of excellent analytical, consultative, organization, customer service and problem solving skills
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication
• Degree (BA or BS) in a communications or change management-related field preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, with specific focus in PowerPoint skills
