Change Manager

Our client, a local Oil and Gas company is looking for an experienced Change Manager to help them implement Wave 2 of an Inventory Lifecycle Management project which surrounds transitioning from legacy systems into a single repository for servers, applications, databases, networks and network devices. This person will sit onsite in Houston spending 40% of time working on stakeholder analysis and 60% working on the leadership and release communications.

Responsibilities Include:

- Develop change management strategies as required, incorporating change management approach, stakeholder management, communication, training and readiness assessments
- Create and implement training strategies
- Create and implement communication plan(s)
- Prepare communication materials including presentations and written communications identified within the communication plan(s)
- Prepare ad hoc communication materials as required
-Prepare and perform project readiness assessments regarding the organizations ability to absorb change and to measure the level of engagement and preparedness

Day to day includes:

- Assessing the change management requirements in the upcoming weeks, stakeholder analysis, release communication (targeting technical teams: here is what is happening, why its happening, and what is next), and leadership communications (here is what has been done). Communications are done on a weekly basis.
- Will also be working on SharePoint updates with the Project Manager and will be interacting with Process SMEs Lead, Data Management lead, Program Manager on a daily basis as well as taking work direction from the PM.

Must have: 8-10 years experience required, Technical knowledge, and experience implementing process change into an organization.

Nice to have include: Knowledge ITIL or understand inventory lifecycle for asset (server, network device, application, database, etc.) and SharePoint Experience.

Soft Skills: Ability to handle themselves in a large team and have "Will Courage" in the change management functions
