Our Oil & Gas client is seeking a Change Manager to join their SBU (Strategic Business Unit) Financial Team in San Ramon, CA. This is an ongoing engagement that will be continuously extended.
The PMO/Change Management Support role is responsible for initiating, providing support and ensuring the smooth operation of Projects and activities of the SBU Financial Support. Responsible for group updates within SBU Finance and other teams.
The role focuses on two key areas, identified and explained below:
• Project Management Activities:
o The role is required to support and drive key project management activities for all projects and activities under the SBU Finance team.
o Project management activities include creating a deck for and running a teamwide biweekly status meeting, emphasizing project progress, major updates, and tracking timelines, along with drafting a dashboard highlighting key activities to be shared with Senior Finance Leadership.
o The project management support resource also helps set up new project plans, grants access to new users, onboards new resources, and makes updates to the team SharePoint sites.
• Change Management Activities:
o The resource will drive change management activities for SBU financial support.
o This includes sourcing content and creating a monthly update to deliver to sites regarding different projects taking place, creating surveys and gathering feedback for various projects, managing the SBU Financial Support email (to send communications on behalf of a project team and to monitor for emails to cascade to the appropriate resource to answer questions), and other miscellaneous change management activities as requests come in from members of the team.
o Experience: 10+ years of Change Management/Project Management
o Microsoft Office Suite – Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.
o Previous Finance experience
o Previous Oil & Gas Experience a PLUS
o Heavy stakeholder engagement a PLUS
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Would prefer local candidates. No travel required
