Catalog Specialist (Ecommerce Taxonomy)

Aquent's Fortune 500 retail client is looking for Catalog Specialists to work a 6-12 month contract with potential to extend on-location in Seattle, WA.

The client is looking for an enthusiastic team player that can assist in enhancing a robust catalog of products and service offerings. This role is in the Home Services department and specifically working on an ecommerce site for appliance parts and accessories.

Roles & Responsibilities
•Execute on a wide variety of data quality improvement efforts.
•Develop and maintain data dictionary, style guides and SOPs.
•Contribute to process development and automation of manual work.
•Troubleshoot website-facing data issues and identify root cause solutions.

Required Skills
•MUST take Excel online test to be considered (administrated through Aquent)
•1-2 years of professional experience working with catalog metadata and taxonomies
•4 year college degree required.
•Basic understanding of e-commerce catalogs and how they are used to facilitate a website user experience
•Ability to learn and quickly adapt to new processes and tools
•Proven ability to work effectively in a cross functional team
•Demonstrated mastery of the English language and experience applying editorial style guidelines and rules of grammar
•Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and basic knowledge of SQL
•Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
•Advocate for data quality with a sharp attention to detail
