Campus Communications Advisor

Our client, a local Oil & Gas company, is looking for an outstanding communicator to serve as their Campus Communications Advisor. Working as part of the Real Estate and Facilities team, this person will be in charge of creating and updating content for the newly-launched Campus Facilities Site & Blog. This intranet site will provide up-to-date information regarding the status of happenings around campus from a facilities perspective, which could include issues with food service areas, campus outages (elevators, lights, restrooms, etc.), construction areas, safety updates, and both planned and unplanned events.

Responsibilities Include:
• Real-time updates Campus Facilities Site & Blog
• Quickly and professionally responding to requests sent to the Shared Facilities e-mail box
• Coordinating the schedules and feedback of 12 Project Managers who contribute to the Service Excellence Initiative
• Maintaining the schedule of onsite support at the campus IT Solutions Center
• Other miscellaneous campus communication needs

The ideal candidate will have Communications experience within operations, Facilities or a Share Services capacity.

Qualifications:
• Strong, professional communication style, both in person and in writing.
• Able to quickly write, edit, proof and publish content
• Supreme attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Self-starter who is able to function effectively in an ever-changing, very fluid environment.
• Experience with crisis communications is a plus
• SharePoint or other Intranet experience is a plus
