Campaign Marketing Manager

Our client operates in a sophisticated virtual store of post-secondary education programs that allow prospective students to research and inquire to hundreds of institutions and thousands of degree and non-degree programs. The result is a steady flow of enrollment inquiries on which these universities, colleges, and trade schools rely to fill their class rosters.

Our client is seeking a Marketing Campaign Specialist to join their Marketing Channel team. You’ll play an important role in our efforts to increase the success of our email, affiliate, syndication and other marketing channels while monitoring and optimizing for conversion rate and ROI. You’ll work closely with the content and technology teams, as well as with outside traffic partners to seek and find prospective students who are currently in-market post-secondary education programs.

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor advertising budgets and increase our clients conversion and ROI performance through recommendations of new campaigns and strategies
  • Manage and optimize the relationships with our clients CPC partners to grow revenue and profitability
  • Create and deploy email campaigns, the success of which will depend on your creativity and resourcefulness
  • Drive creation of new ideas for testing based on hypotheses you’ll develop from observation and analysis
  • Write and test online ad copy to skillfully answers the questions of your target audience
  • Learn every day on the job, working to develop your skills and knowledge of our clients operations


  • Essential skills and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the field of Business, Economics, Marketing or the like
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience (experience with a consumer Web property helpful but not required)
  • Proficiency with Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment with competing priorities
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to emergent business needs
  • A strong bias to action and an orientation to always seek results
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working with HTML/CSS helpful but not required
