Campaign Manager, Marketing Communications - Contractor

A large energy client of Aquent's is looking for a Contract Marketing Communications Manager to provide support of customer marketing initiatives. This person will be responsible for the creative development, implementation and ongoing support of customer outreach, and will work closely with Marketing Strategy Managers and trusted creative agencies in the identification of product and/or program messages, target markets, tactical plans and provide the necessary strategic creative support to achieve the product and/or program goals.

In this role, the Campaign Manager will be responsible for writing and executing on creative briefs in partnership with advertising agencies and other external vendors to manage, design, and execute multi-channel communications including advertising, web/digital and owned asset advertising. The Campaign Manager will provide Marketing Strategy with campaign performance metrics and continually re-evaluate campaign performance to optimize metrics.
Position-Related Responsibilities:
• Primary activities include the development of creative briefs, campaigns, creative reviews, internal reviews, creative production and coordination of all creative needs across key business products and programs.
• Day-to-day creative agency contact; including scope-of-work, role of engagement, priorities and deliverables, evaluations, tracking against milestones, managing budgets and resource optimization.
• Develops innovative ways to use marketing communications (print, web, multimedia and social media tools) to foster collaboration and communication across all levels of the organization and the communities we serve.
• Collaborates with the Media and Production Managers to ensure both cost and operational efficiencies are achieved across all campaigns.
• Keep up-to-date on industry trends and developing marketing technologies along with segmentation and targeting principles.
• Coordinates and produces advertising required by other departments and subsidiaries.
• Provides communication consulting, strategy development and implementation services to assigned internal clients.
• Manage day-to-day aspects of projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality deliverables and Plan/client satisfaction.
• Secure timely estimate/proposal/change order approvals if working with an outside agency
