Manager is seeking a Campaign Manager to join the team. The Integrated Campaign Manager will be responsible for managing campaigns on behalf of internal clients. They will need to be focused on delivering innovative ideas, developing campaign creative and co-ordinating the execution of integrated communication campaigns to support the Audience Marketing and Product Marketing teams in growing the user base and so directly (paid products) or indirectly (advertising) monetizing.
The successful candidate will be joining a team of 4 and will have a large focus on the internal client, engagement, driving campaigns, internal channel teams and agency managers. For this reason they must have very strong stakeholder management. Ideally they would come from a client side background although the manager might consider an agency background. Telco would be the ideal industry background for the candidates too.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of experience of multiple roles and project management, working with product marketing teams and a holistic view of the marketing lifecycle.

Skype is an exciting and fast growing business integrated into a wide variety of Microsoft product and device offerings. The Integrated Campaign Manager will be responsible for managing campaigns on behalf of internal clients. They will need to be focused on delivering innovative ideas, developing campaign creative and co-ordinating the execution of integrated communication campaigns to support the Audience Marketing and Product Marketing teams in growing the user base and so directly (paid products) or indirectly (advertising) monetizing.
The work involved will include creative brief writing, managing creative reviews, campaign reporting & optimisation and competitor analysis. The Campaign Manager will be evaluated on quality of campaign planning and strategy, timely campaign delivery, campaign conversion / effectiveness, brand awareness and internal client satisfaction.
The role sits centrally and is highly cross-functional. The Campaign Manager will be required to work in close conjunction with other teams in the organisation including research, customer support, finance, product development, marketing, business units / regions and supporting agencies.
Roles & Responsibilities
Campaign Briefing & Planning. The Campaign Manager will support the Senior Integrated Campaign Manager as a principle point of contact for internal clients that have a requirement to execute marketing campaigns related to the Revenue and Engagement areas of the business. This will require both tactical and integrated marketing strategies, clear and specific KPI goals; alignment with all internal stakeholders, agencies partners required to execute on those plans.
Capture campaign objectives and requirements and create a compelling and thoughtful brief for the internal design teams and external agencies. Working with the Product Marketing team and Communications Planner to evolve and align the product propositions for the core Revenue and Engagement strategy.
Leverage knowledge and expertise from channel experts (social / PR / CRM / broadcast + entertainment / editorial etc) to ensure that campaigns are created with maximum effect.
Project management and lead campaign delivery. Briefing the design team, managing reviews product channel teams to ensure that all campaigns are managed and delivered on time. Develop and manage campaign plans across all key channels with internal stakeholders and agencies. Collaborate with channel owners and ensure coordinated overall campaign approach and delivery.
Work with the Analytics team to construct campaign targets, traffic, conversion and customer behavior metrics and ensure on-going optimization.
Build and manage marketing budget and ensure and ensure campaign spend in accordance with Microsoft procurement policies.
Create, execute & amplify marketing campaigns in wider system, closely aligning across internal team and wider Field Team to support 1st party offers, partners or other 3rd part systems.
Reporting for executed campaigns such that they have measured results and incorporate best practices into future offerings to ensure a continual process of improvement.
Integrate research & insights into marketing campaigns.
Key Measures of Success
On time and on budget execution of campaigns against agreed marketing plan.
Measurable success as defined by agreed campaign KPIs for each execution.
Successfully impact creative and agency teams to ensure audience and product team campaign priorities, branding and product messaging are properly carried out in all outbound marketing materials.
Ability to drive innovative use of investment plan to maximize business impact.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven track-record of world-class consumer marketing (5+ years) – tech, media or telecoms experience a benefit.
Campaign and/or project management expertise for consumer brand vital. Patient, adaptable and dedicated, great time-management skills and the ability to multitask are must haves.
Consistent history of successfully managing budget, workflow and resource for cross-organizational virtual teams.
Creating structure and definition around uncertain, complex and ambiguous business problems.
Ability to identify marketing needs, gain alignment, and deliver against outcomes expected.
Strong interpersonal awareness skills capable of adapting to dynamic situations and working to influence and motivate diverse, global, matrix and senior level teams.
Maturity and Executive Presence necessary to sell in complex plans to senior management.
Experience in marketing to internal field organizations (eg marketing, sales, advertising) a plus.
