Title: Campaign Manager 

Roles and Responsibilities 


Fortune 500 company is seeking Campaign Optimization Manager is to ensure the successful launch of campaigns and continually monitor and optimize campaign for performance and delivery. To work to continually improve the systems and processes of Ad Operations and strive for excellence in the execution and management of campaigns.

Campaign Launch and Optimization 

  • Provide pixels to for the appropriate ad systems and validate that they are placed correctly 
  • Validate inventory availability prior to campaign launch 
  • Process New Program Email Form 
  • Ensure all necessary information is being captured regarding billing, verification, KPIs, etc. and that all documentation (Media Plan and Signed IO) are in order prior to launch 
  • Create lines in ad servers (DFP/DSP/Callisto) and ensure all targeting is accurate 
  • QAs creative content, including landing page, to ensure it adheres to all ad and creative policies (creative content, technical specs, blacklist, etc.) 
  • Ensure we have 3rd party data for all campaigns billing off of 3rd party numbers and that data is flowing appropriately into all systems (Datorama, PIO, Adjuster, etc.) 
  • Confirm when campaign is setup and ready to launch 
  • Confirm when campaign has launched and provide screenshots 
  • Check campaign 1-3 days after launch to ensure campaign was trafficked correctly and 3P discrepancies are minimal - investigate any tag issues 
  • Set up daily 3rd party reporting 
  • Monitor delivery and optimize performance against client KPIs  
  • Provide recommendations for reallocation to ensure delivery and performance 
  • Provide avails and recommendations for client reallocation requests and process all revised IOs 
  • Coordinate with Account Team and Sales Ops to confirm month end final billing numbers 


Account Communication 

  • Adhere to all SLAs 
  • Have weekly calls with account team to provide campaign readout of campaign pacing/performance, make recommendations and receive account updates 
  • Escalate any at-risk campaigns 

Systems and Processes 

  • Have an in-depth knowledge of .com, on-site ad placements, and products and tools used to run campaigns 
  • Ensure that all processes are up-to-date and followed accordingly 
  • Proficient in Excel
