Reports to: Brand & Creative Director

The role in a nutshell:

• Working with the B&CD, responsible for the implementation of the brand proposition & the overall strategic direction of the brand. Brand across all channels, with a key focus for the delivery of effective marketing communications activity across all parts of the promotional mix for the brand.

Key Accountabilities e.g. what will you be responsible for day to day?

• To contribute to the on-going development of brand and communications strategy and develop all communications activity in line with strategy by providing input and working closely with the Brand and Creative Director.
• To provide efficient and effective brand marketing support, providing “brand” communication and expertise to across all areas of the business including Operations, International, POS.
• To drive the marketing effort to help create exciting customer propositions and act as the “voice of the customer”
• To review, develop and manage the Campaign Plan for the brand in line with the overall business objectives and budget to ensure the brand continues to focus on identified key segments, Implement all stages of brand strategy and maintains the visual integrity of the brand
• Working with the Creative Director contribute to the development of the promotional strategy; developing and implementing Promotional campaigns, with the systems, processes and communication in place to support efficient and effective promotional activity and POS material is accurate, timely & adheres to brand design
• To work with the digital team to ensure in store communication and online channels are aligned with business goals
• Manage customer segmentation, promotions, competitive positioning and communication channels at national and local levels.
• Fully understand and define the customer – bring it to life across the business.
• Research, identify and leverage consumer insights, exploiting customer data to develop offerings that surprise and delight the retail customer base.
• To manage the Marketing Co-ordinator to ensure all opportunities to leverage brand awareness and scale are undertaken, in particular define the micro marketing strategy for refits, acquisitions and new builds
• Ensure appropriate media is selected and all campaigns adhere to a clearly defined advertising strategy
• To manage the PR agency to ensure all campaigns are being executed and seeded in relevant media
• Ensure a marketing communications brand guidelines manual is in place, up to date and being complied with the B&CD

Key Competencies e.g. what knowledge, skills and experience will you have?

• Degree in Marketing/Business
• Excellent communication and project management skills, numerate, commercial, passionate
• At least 3 years experience in a Marketing/Brand mgt role - some industry experience preferable in fashion
• Highly commercial, execution driven marketing professional
• Highly energetic and most comfortable working with real pace, taking daily decisions
• IT experience particularly Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of digital marketing
