CRM Campaign Manager

Our client, a major B2B travel company, are looking for a CRM Campaign Manager withe experience of managing email campaigns to start immediately on a freelance basis until December 20th 2013. You will ideally have previous experience of using email database software and of planning digital marketing campaigns. This booking is for 4 days per week, but you may be required to work a full 5 days per week, depending on workload.

The primary role of the brand campaign manager will be to recommend, plan and deliver fully integrated marketing campaigns/communications that support the commercial marketing strategy and key business projects for the client.

Part of the central EMEA marketing team, the role requires planning of marketing campaigns to support global and regional product launches, in close liaison with the global brand team to ensure that centrally created marketing materials are produced for consistent presentation and enhance brand recognition.

The role includes ability to manage the creative development process with external agencies combined with excellent project management skills and proven track record in developing a wide variety of communication material including: advertising; brochures; sales presentations; online, digital and social media campaigns. You will ensure the right channel mix to achieve maximum, measurable results, including ongoing campaign analysis to improve future programs.

A principal element of the job will be to write copy, shape, and position engaging marketing communications, while managing a complex regionalisation and translations process to keep brand assets current and refreshed. Among key skills needed is the ability to structure and convey ideas and information in a way that brings about understanding and simplicity to business audiences and equips sales teams with the right tools to sell.

This hands-on role demands a passionate yet common-sense approach and a positive can-do personality to manage multiple priorities to exacting deadlines. You will be a creative and innovative thinker who can take ideas right through to execution.

Core competencies

• Experience across the marketing mix, including digital, social and direct marketing.

• Highly creative in producing innovative marketing content with demonstrable experience in planning, implementing and analysing marketing campaigns.

• Excellent communications and presentation skills including ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

• Experience of analysing and regularly reporting on success of digital marketing campaigns/ROI and impact of traffic.

• Degree calibre, an advanced level of competency using standard Microsoft software packages and previous experience of using a content management system beneficial.

• Travel technology background and a second European language will be an added advantage.
