My client is a well-known leader in the hospitality field with several brands under one arm. They are looking for 2 CRM Executives to join their Digital Communications team. They are looking at 2 different levels ranging from 1-2 years experience or 3-4 years for the more senior role.

The newly created CRM and Digital team’s focus is to deliver best in class digital communications across all 4 brands in the group. They are looking for an energetic individuals with a driven “can-do” attitude to help deliver exciting communications to our customers. 

Responsibilities

  • To co-ordinate and implement the groups E-CRM programmes. This includes working alongside inhouse designers and brand teams to brief creatives.
  • Constantly seeking to improve our emails with new and exciting ideas to deliver increased engagement.
  • Campaign analysis on a regular basis, providing recommendations and presenting insight.
  • Forming strong relationships with Marketing Brand teams to ensure on-brand messaging and alignment with key campaign strategies. This includes attending creative workshops, food-tasting and campaign catch ups to allow email content ideation.
  • Ownership of the brand promotional plan implementation, whether direct on our websites or with external partners.
  • Working closely with both Finance and Brand Marketing teams to understand the effectiveness of the promotional activity.
  • Supporting the CRM and Digital Manager in strategies to drive both acquisition and retention.
  • Create and capture competitor and market insights and stay up to date with industry best practice.
     

Experience, Skills & behaviours required:

  • A customer-focused marketer with a deep interest of digital marketing tools and platforms with a strong brand focus
  • Creative flair and eye for detail
  • Strong analytical skills and ROI performance orientation
  • 1-2 years’ experience in an eCRM environment
  • Previous experience with ESP systems essential, knowledge of IBM Watson Campaign Automation desirable
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Tableau Software is desirable
  • Understanding of email design and HTML
  • Confident user of Excel
  • Demonstrable examples of improving KPIs (conversion rates, open and click through rates etc.)
  • Very strong interpersonal skills – impact, influence and collaboration
  • Experience of developing new initiatives
  • Marketing degree educated or equivalent

For the more senior role you will be expected to have the following:

Experience, Skills & behaviours required:

  • 3-4 years’ experience in a CRM consumer brand environment
  • The ability to always think customer-first.  Creative flair and “on brand thinking” important to ensure communications support brand strategies
  • Strong “hands-on” analytical skills and ROI performance orientation. You must love numbers and sharing insight with wider teams
  • A keen interest in digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Demonstrable examples of improving KPIs (conversion rates, open and click through rates etc.)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong collaboration skills to enable effective working across different functions including Operations, IT and Brand Marketing Teams
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Acquisition and retention experience
  • Experience overseeing and optimising customer journeys

Technical Skills

  • Previous experience with ESP systems essential, knowledge of IBM Watson Campaign Automation desirable
  • Understanding of email design
  • Confident user of Excel
  • Knowledge of Tableau Software is desirable
