Our fast-paced US Flow Planning team is looking for a Flow Planning Manager with experience in consumer products. The main goal of the Flow Planning manager is to partner with Sales, Marketing and Operations to determine what to buy, when to buy it and how to distribute it to our customers to support retail. The Flow Planning Manager must be able to assimilate multiple sources of information in order to make purchase and allocation plan decisions and continuously reanalyze plans to adjust for frequent variables, including production, field forecasts, point of sale data, marketing efforts, quality factors, etc. The goal of the purchase and allocation plans is to establish the widest assortment of product, to the widest account base, taking into account individual business plans, weeks of supply, percentage of business within a category and promotional plans all while managing product assortments to prevent back up at retail.
Key responsibilities include:
Recommend inventory commitment requirements necessary to drive high service levels and high fill-rates for our key retailers.
Maintain the 12-month rolling inventory requirement, by month, for each 8-digit planning material, by distribution channel, in the SAP Demand Planning module.
Assist with Allocation Plans based primarily on thorough and continuous analysis of the following factors: field forecasts, determination of LC vs. domestic needs, Ad requirements and promotions, just-in-time weekly replenishment orders, POS and weeks of supply, version management, historical fair share of category and percent of corporate volume.
Establish clear, concise, and timely communication with the Sales, Operations Planning, HFE and senior management as required on all critical and allocated items.
Identify and establish merchandise requirements for the spring and fall season retail plan-o-grams.
Partner with Marketing and the Operations team to ensure Hasbro’s advertising efforts will be supported with national distribution of featured product.
Approve, modify, or decline special promotions or print advertising based on availability of product.
Excellent excel skills are required.
