CAD Designer
The CAD Designer utilizes digital software to develop conceptual artwork through all phases of development to the final out put of production ready artwork. Focused to textile design the CAD Designer for Print and Pattern designs motifs, creates repeat layouts, reduces colors for screen printing output and full color art for digital techniques for all PINK product categories.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Follow proper Cad best practices while ideating around new solutions
•Take directions well while maintaining curiosity
•Keep up to date with new software and upgrades
•Able to capture PINK design aesthetic with understanding of production ready art
•Collaborate with cross functional partners to drive for results
•Asses priorities and collaborate to meet deliverables and deadlines
•Attend applicable training classes
•Ability to take creative direction and execute
•Strive for optimal right the first time results
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience
•3+ years Textile design experience preferred
•Understanding or working knowledge of Bridge
•Proficiency in the latest releases of Illustrator and Photoshop
•Working knowledge of Ned Graphics or equivalent proprietary textile design software a plus
•Must have strong communication and organizational skills
•Ability to multitask and meet overlapping deadlines
•Ability to work on teams
•Ability to work in a high volume, detail oriented studio or fashion company
