Buying Assistant I

The Campus Ops and Inventory Management team is responsible for textbook inventory management during peak back to school seasons.You will support peak preparation and execution activities. Coordinate with publishers to improve item availability

Basic Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Comfortable communicating with stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person
Basic knowledge of SQL

Project Description:
Support is primarily needed to drive required course material selection with faculty and manage publisher communication during peak prep and execution. To ensure we deliver the best customer experience and a high level of customer service, a dedicated person is needed to respond quickly to faculty/publisher questions and manage outreach.

No overtime should be needed. Time is flexible – 8ish-5ish or 9ish-6ish with an hour break. 40 hours/week.

Length of contract is 8 months. FTE status is not being looked at for this position, but the manager is happy to provide recommendations for strong performers if they wish to pursue a full time opportunity within the company once the contract is up.
