Business/Process Advisor

Join the leading global international coffee retailer HQ'd in Seattle and bring your business acumen, DATA MODELING/PROCESS WORK FLOW and BUSINESS ANALYSIS skills to the table! We have an immediate contract need for a superstar to join this growing team through July of 2016 with the possibility to extend.

This job contributes to our client's success by working with business unit groups to review, document, analyze and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of moderately complex to complex business processes. Leads process reviews; facilitates design and development of new processes.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Assists business unit groups in reviewing and document current business operational processes using standard process review methodology.
-Facilitates identification of existing process complications or deficiencies that negatively impact operational quality, effectiveness and/or efficiency. Identifies opportunities for process improvements.
- Makes recommendations for process change that will result in more efficient use of people, resources and time.
- Designs, develops and produces process-related documentation using standard methods such as flowcharting tools.
- Develops tools and methods for program and/or process metrics; conducts detailed analyses to determine the cost impact of process improvements.
- Documents, develops and communicates process-related policies and procedures.
- Identifies strategic opportunities for system and process improvements.
- Prepares summaries of process review, development and implementation activities.
- Develops reports as requested.
- Researches and designs audit reports for interdepartmental needs.
- Provides consulting and support to ensure use and maintenance of correct management tools and processes.
- Researches external best practices to be integrated into department processes.
- Supports business group implementation of procedural changes through communications, training and change management.
