Business Planning Analyst - EMEA

My client is a Global Technology Giant that is a household name. They are looking for a Business Planning Analyst for the EMEA market to join the team for a 12 month period, paying up to £44 000/annum PAYE pro rata. You will be working on their electronic hardware offering. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to go client side in the tech industry.

As part of our global business organization, the Business Operations team supports company success by sizing and prioritizing key business opportunities, outlining growth plans with regional and go-to-market verticals, and evaluating resulting success criteria for the company. We are looking for a highly-motivated, technically skilled candidate to help drive all forecasting, planning and reporting for our EMEA business. 

As a Business Planning Analyst supporting our EMEA business, you will play a key role in driving all things planning, building the regional business forecast and partnering with internal teams to evaluate new initiatives. You will own the delivery of forecasted expectations across all products and channels while partnering with business leads to identify opportunities to optimise performance. The right candidate will be able to translate product and go-to-market strategies into concrete operating plans, and report on resulting success metrics for the EMEA business. 

The work: 
* Partner: with business, product, and operations teams to drive end-to-end forecasting in EMEA 
* Plan: Business trajectory, generating revenue, demand, and growth plans for the region 
* Build: Reporting tools and visualisations for the business to report on performance 

Minimum qualifications: 
* BA or BS (or equivalent) in economics, computer science, statistics, or related field 
* 2+ years of experience in an analytical role (investment banking, consulting, business analytics, or equivalent operating roles) 
* 2+ years of experience developing turn-key forecasting models via excel/sheets 

Preferred qualifications: 
* Excited to partner with and influence various stakeholders at any stage of an analysis problem 
* Exceptional problem-solver with strong critical thinking skills 
* Experience building model infrastructure in Anaplan (or willingness to learn) 
* Innate curiosity for learning emerging technologies and data platforms 
* Passionate about problem-solving and communicating insights; self motivated to get things done 
* Strong ability to manage large data sets and synthesis resources into model frameworks 
* Adventurous and growth minded
