Business Ops Manager

Our Client is looking for a Business Operations Manager (maternity cover) with strong skills in multi-disciplinary business operations, event, communications and internal stakeholder management. This role calls for a balance of leadership and influence skills across the team and beyond and significant individual contributions. You will play an important support role for the leadership team.

The role is part of Europe regional team, reporting directly to the Head of Europe. The whole region consists of one regional team plus 7 key local sales units, which makes the entire region with 150+ colleagues.
Although the regional team itself is fairly small, it is the decision-making center for all the business activities such as target setting, budget/investment allocation, supply allocation, and so on.

The BM will support the Head of Europe in various aspects including but not limited to the followings:

· Managing regional high-level meetings including agenda setting, meeting contents, action item tracking.
· Facilitating and preparing key business strategy, monthly regional reports, and presentations. Collaborate and monitor the execution of the plans with GMs and other relevant stakeholders.
· On behalf of the European team, managing day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring on-timing execution of business operations.
· Project management and roll out of new business governance in the region, organization and management of corporate events including off-site meetings/workshops, customer hospitalities, and executive roadshows.
· Acting as the key contact for the Europe region, and liaising with Global and European management, chiefs of staff, stakeholders, customers and suppliers to build and ensure a strong working relationship.

Shifts priorities as required, mitigates risks, and takes corrective action to prevent undesirable outcomes.
Independent judgment within the area of reasonability, team building, budgeting, presentation skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure
Plans for the effective use of resources and contacts. Actively seeks information.
Evaluates outcomes and shares lessons learned.
Ability to plan and execute events at both small and big scales in a cost efficient way at expected quality.

The BM will also oversee the calendar management of the Head of Europe, and prioritize the meetings/agenda based on the business needs.

Most of the works are dealt remotely through emails/video calls/conf calls, but some travels may be required if necessary.
