Business Operations Project Manager

Business Operations Project Manager - This person will be doing a lot of the teams Data and Metrics and should be able to pull analytics from the data points. They may have been a business analyst in the past as well.


The project manager will work within my clients Game Ops group supporting key FY13 initiatives such the Game Development Framework (GDF), Production Planning reporting and data management, and Production Operations support.


· Production Planning: Manage organizational reporting and production planning efforts including Portfolio Roadmap, Production Status Reporting and automated data management.

· Production Operations: Support and manage Game development by working through and supporting standardized business processes and practices including, but not limited to: Greenlight, Post Mortem, Product Status and general PM oversight on critical projects. Duties would include meeting preparation cross-functional alignment, meeting facilitation, task tracking, Data and Metric etc.

Basic Qualifications

· Self-motivated, a natural problem-solver, and a good communicator with a demonstrated ability to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously, both independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment

· Comfort working cross-functionally, such as experience integrating new initiatives across an organization.

· Extensive background in analytical projects and exercise, including data management, business intelligence

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds while building strong working relationships with management and peers

· Knowledge and experience in several Project Management methodologies

· Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly iterating environment

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· BA/BS degree, preferably in Business Management, or equivalent experience

· 3-5 years of experience leading programs and projects of all sizes

· Expert in Excel

· Detail oriented with expert level experience in data management and tool usage

· Demonstrable proficiency and passion for the video game industry

· Proven success of strong leadership, including priority setting, building teams and leading implementation of new initiatives from beginning to end with minimal direction/supervision

· Project Management Skills: leadership, communication, facilitation, time management, negotiation, networking, project planning, coordination, and the ability to foster teamwork.

· Internal Consultant: negotiation, ability to persuade, problem identification, and presentation skills

· Change Agent: champion change efforts, conflict resolution, motivational, and interpersonal skills
