Business Operations Project Analyst - San Jose - ZC # 63385

You will support Business Operations and Finance teams reporting to the Sr. Manager of Business Ops for Digital Marketing Business Unit. This position is data intensive, and will focus on data gathering, analysis and reporting for determining critical contract values within the business unit.

This role may interface also with BU Product Management, Order Management, IT, and others as needed.

Primary Duties:
• Evaluate data and information from various systems and produce a summary of findings.
• Gather critical data need for analysis of business contracts values.
• Evaluate information on past transactional data (contracts, orders, deal registrations).
• Collaborate closely with the Business Unit and Finance/Partners teams to accommodate or troubleshoot (data) problem scenarios.
• Identify common issues in data while conducting analysis.

Key Experience and Skills:
• Responsiveness to deliverables: This position supports critical data and report delivery for operations and finance and must be sensitive and responsive to needed report time cycles that affect revenue or contract value cycles.
• Clear communication and attention to detail: This position will be working cross-functionally, and accurate specifics in communication are essential to ensure timely execution and avoiding re-work.
• Quantitative / Logic skills: This position will be validating and assisting in the structure of data from multiple systems (including SFDC). Quantitative skills are a plus to ensure that the quality of work and desired outcomes are in line with expectations.
• ADAVANCED Microsoft Excel (07/10) skills to include advanced formulas, macros, pivots, vlookups, combining data, displaying data effectively, charts, etc

• Experience utilizing multiple systems ( SFDC, CRM, etc) to accomplish tasks.
• Batch uploading of order data and follow-up reporting.

• Displaying data driven results and translating data into digestible reports

Knowledge & Experience (Preferred):
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of professional working experience preferably in a global software company, preferably in a business operations or finance related role.
• Ability to effectively evaluate and analyze and display data.
• Ability to be customer oriented.
• Prioritization Skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience supporting operations or finance teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational and data issues.
