Business Operations Associate

Our client, one of the largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organizations with a membership of more than 37 million needs a Business Operations Associate for a long term contract opportunity.

Provide administrative and operational support the Digital Strategy and Operations team under the direction of the Business and Financial Manager. Ideal candidate will be highly ambitious with a keen attention to detail, have superior organizational and communication skills, and be the ability to work with confidential information.

Responsibilities:
• Processes purchasing requisitions and vendor invoices
• Contribute analyses to report being prepared for business unit management to aid in making financial, client, acquisition, or other business decision.
• Participate in month end analyses to summarize, reconcile, and report financial data from transactions, fee payments, and accruals, to identify or track trends.
• Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of financial and contractual records
• Complete financial and/or contractual research or special projects as needed
• Provide administrative support to leadership team
• Manage office supply and computer hardware inventory

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of related experience
• High proficiency in use Microsoft Office applications. Experience using PeopleSoft is a plus.
• Takes initiative, can work independently and as part of a team
• Can produce well written correspondence and organized spreadsheets
• Prior experience with month end close process and monthly financial reporting.
