Our large retail Fortune 500 client is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst II! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity.

Manager, Financial Reporting and Business Intelligence
The Kenmore, Craftsman, and DieHard (KCD) Business Unit is responsible for growing and capitalizing on the value of our brand portfolio both within and outside of the company. As Manager of Financial Reporting and Business Intelligence you will provide senior leadership key metrics and reports to allow us to track delivery of our targets. Through effective reporting you will identify lead and lag measures to ensure that our portfolio of projects meets performance targets.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare, analyze, and develop reports for planning, forecasting, trending and variance analysis to actual results
• Design and develop Executive Dashboards, Balanced Scorecard and Project Management Reporting for performance tracking purposes
• To interpret and provide accurate and timely information to managers in a format that is easily understood and relevant to the decision making process. This will involve the receipt of complex and sensitive information to analyze, interpret and present in an appropriate format where there may be barriers to understanding.
• Develop, and adapt as necessary, information systems to report on key performance indicators to ensure that managers can measure and monitor and continuously improve performance.
• Required to work closely with colleagues in producing information analysis
• Assists in the collection and dissemination of financial metrics & project information
• Extract and Consolidate data from multiple sources
• Actively participate in report development, data extraction, and data analysis as appropriate
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate and concise documentation
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
• MBA preferred
• 1-3 years’ work experience
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to structure documents (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, Memorandums) to effectively communicate with senior management
• Excellent PC skills working with large datasets (modeling, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Word)
• SQL for data extraction
• Essbase, Business Objects, Microstrategy skills a plus
