Business Director (GAD)

As a Business Director within this agency you will be responsible for the overall management, supervision and growth of a key agency client. Reporting to the Client Services Director you will be responsible for all commercial aspects your accounts growth, success and relationship/financial health.

The role requires broad channel marketing experience and the ability to apply a creative and strategic mindset to all client briefs that come through the door.

Client:
Is able to influence client’s decision making up to and including Senior Management. To be seen as a trusted advisor
Able to present agency credentials and ‘What’s New’ content with confidence (need to build understanding of the breadth of the agencies offer and project history)
Initiates and manages all client relationship building activities
Stay abreast of the latest in creative solutions across all mediums of communication - on screen, mobile communication devices, content production, music, live events/shows, business events, speakers, print communications, social media, popular culture and business thinking across the business landscape and trends.
Creative / Projects:
Ensures quality client briefs (reverse brief process)
Plays internal client and is the client custodian across; strategy, messaging and brand. We expect this role to have a thorough understanding and insight into their clients; vision, values, competitive environment and industry landscape.
Oversees all proposal development to ensure it meets agency quality standards.
Where appropriate contribute to the development of existing business and development of new business with the client(s)
Manages the case study production process to ensure your clients projects are added to our case study library
Financial / Commercial:
In conjunction with Client Service Director, develop annual revenue budgets and strategies to meet/exceed targets
Accountable for nominated client revenue budgets. Annual revenue budgets will be tracked and assessed on a YTD basis, reviewed monthly with the Client Service Director. We expect a proactive plan for any projected revenue gaps.
Responsible for all commercial aspects including; contracting, rate cards, service models. Also to ensure the internal team is complicit with all contract terms and conditions.
Management/Skills required:
Strong leadership skills with exceptional communication and management experience
Excellent team management skills and has the ability to manage multiple team members across multiple projects
Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Demonstrate a strong ability to write and co-ordinate effective and compelling proposals, briefs and presentations.
Experience:
8+ years agency experience
Has sound experience across multiple channels specifically events, experiential, digital, social media, content production and marcomms programs.
Team player, must be flexible, inclusive, positive and helpful
Excellent attention to detail

Ideally we are looking for someone to start End of November beginning of December so they can have a handover.
