About Us
We’re Aquent On Demand ( and we provide web-based solutions to creative and marketing organizations. Formed in 2004, our solutions are now used by over 10,000 people around the world. Our growth continues unabated and we’re looking to add another Business Development Manager to our team here in the Twin Cities.

About the Job
You’ll be following-up with people that have contacted us and asked to learn more about our solutions. Once you get in touch with them, you’ll qualify the opportunity to see if our solution matches their requirements. If it seems like a fit, you’ll perform a web demonstration of the product and answer questions as they arise. After the demonstration, you’ll follow-up, answer more questions, perhaps demonstrate the product again, maybe issue a proposal, and then (hopefully!) close the deal, turn it over to the Implementation Team, and do it all over again! We manage our pipeline in so, if you’ve used that or any other CRM, that’s a plus!

About You:
Yes, there ARE requirements for this position. Qualified candidates will have:

A winning personality and desire to connect with clients, assertive sales and closing ability, as well as demonstrated strength in all aspects of the sales process.

A proven track record with one to three years work experience with extensive customer contact (primarily via phone) preferred.

The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, where managing multiple tasks and deadlines is an everyday part of the job.

Strong “complex-problem solving” skills and negotiation skills.

Knowledge of or experience with Marketing, or Design a plus.

Proven experience leading all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, account strategy development, discovery/client needs analysis, proposal development, presentations, pricing & negotiations, contract execution and implementation.

Consistent achievement of sales objectives and quotas.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to successfully interact with individuals at all levels both within client organization and within Aquent.

Computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Four year degree in Business or related field.
