Business Development Manager

The Primary goal of the Business Development Manager is responsibility for growing sales for the top accounts in the Home & Garden and Jewelry categories.

Responsibilities will include:

• Manage a portfolio of 13 accounts in the Home & Garden and Jewelry categories
• Responsible for working with accounts to grow annual sales to achieve and surpass sales goals. Success will be based on GMV contribution
• Utilize levers to grow sales: marketing promotions and campaigns
• Improve search best match, account standards & logistics on the site
• Understand each accounts’ inventory and pricing and how best to optimize each account for success on eBay
• Work with relevant cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation (Customer Service, Marketing, etc.)
• Develop business insights through in depth analysis and regular reporting

Job Requirements
Job Requirements – 5-7 years of work experience in growth account management, consulting, or corporate retail.

• General business training via brand management, management consulting, retail buying/planning or equivalent
• Ability to learn quickly and rapidly assess opportunities and challenges
• Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills with both customers and senior executives
• Preferably, online experience with a leading Web company and/or consumer marketer
• Exceptional abilities as a cross functional team player
• Demonstrated strengths in analytics & forecasting, problem solving, client management, & relationship building
• Experience in the Apparel, Jewelry, or Home & Garden categories a plus
• MBA a plus
