Business Development Manager - Direct Advertising Sales

They are growing and are looking for Business Development Manager to join the team!

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be a true hunter; a pillar of curiosity... Leaving no stone unturned, the workload will consist of seeking and securing new direct enterprise advertising clients. The candidate will be given responsibility of building and managing a pipeline of clients while pursuing a number of strategic target accounts. The individual will operate in a self-directed manner, working mainly through field sales with some telesales involved.
In addition, they will be responsible for designing solutions to meet their clients’ needs. Their success will be measured in a number of ways, predominantly by revenue-driven quarterly targets.

Basic Qualifications:

University degree is preferred. However if candidates have significant relevant experience in sales, a professional attitude and a good network of contacts, a university degree is not essential

Functional knowledge of Salesforce CRM.

Candidates must have a good insight of the local market; geographical context and product industry. They should be aware of the different routes within the market.

Candidates should be aware of challenges in the market, competitors, future directions, and how technology and other developments will affect them and their clients.

Build a solid understanding of the client business and considers how new product developments can add value

Communicate with clients at various levels of seniority with confidence and competence in presentation.

Experienced in the full sales cycle including proposition, closing deals and post-deal integration.

Proactively manage a pipeline of work, seizing opportunities and driving sales conversations towards closure.

Targeted and focused approach to work; understands targets and takes practical approach to achieve them in timely manner.

Pursue targets with high energy and ambition for success
