Business Consultant, Commercial Planning

Responsible for leading the project management, business analysis, and financial analysis of selected Integrated Planning programs and projects to help ensure that "Client' initiatives align with corporate strategy and meet business needs; maximize corporate resource productivity, revenues and Customer Service, and adhere to all corporate resource constraints. Responsible for providing leadership to the Commercial planning processes ensuring that these processes are successfully implemented and reaching desired objectives. Responsible for supporting commercial planning designing and managing the Commercial Planning portfolio. Responsible for supporting Commercial Planning with cross functional change management activities needed to successfully implement the Integrated Planning improvement portfolio. Responsible for supporting governance and executive reporting.

Work Activities:
Drives complex projects and moderately complex programs towards completion through engagement of Commercial stakeholders, coordination with Operations and Technology counterparts, and project administration activities.
Maintains positive relationships with all internal and external Customers to ensure that all Integrated Planning activities are adequately informed and are performed in a collaborative manner.

Work activities include:
Performs project oversight to ensure that team work is planned, executed, and reported on in a timely manner and with high quality
Creates integrated work plans and schedules to drive and support the assessment of complex projects and moderately complex programs.
Proactively monitors risks, issues, and scope, ensuring the appropriate level of priority, visibility, and escalation.
Leverages tools and implements appropriate gauges (velocity, budget, schedule, etc) to evaluate and communicate project/program status.
Drives and supports definition, delivery, and measurement of complex projects and moderately complex programs.
Drives research, analysis and development for new Departmental/Business opportunities
Responsible for managing multiple cross functional programs, projects, and tasks simultaneously to ensure successful delivery and alignment. Responsible for ensuring that Project Planning adheres to all 'Client' guidelines and best practices.

Experience:
3 years of project management experience leading teams, driving and delivering complex projects and programs required.
2 years of experience managing business (non-technology) projects, or the business side of technology projects, required.
2 years organizational change management experience required.
1 year of business case development experience building financial and non-financial justification for potential initiatives required.

Skills:
Must have proficient knowledge of strategic and financial analysis.
Must have proven analytical and quantitative skills; experience with spreadsheets or other quantitative modeling.
Ability to assume a high level of responsibility and to provide direction in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to properly manage highly sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to contend with the range and complexity of large Departmental/Business problems.
Ability to plan and drive complex projects and moderately complex programs to completion.
Ability to understand corporate financial analysis and financial statements.
Ability to partner and work effectively with Managers and Directors to develop and implement Departmental and Company plans.
Ability to develop and deliver presentations to audiences of 15+ People.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate complex issues in a structured and concise manner.
Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Ability to design and conduct analyses, as well as synthesize recommendations.
