Business Analyst/IT Communications Specialist

This BA will aid in the Marketing Sales and Service organization to identify, analyze, and develop proof of concepts, prototypes, and pilots to support Internet of Things and Connected Consumer Experiences related initiatives. The ideal candidate will use a set tools and skills to inform and facilitate the innovation process, such as visual tools like sketches, mind maps and prototypes, to mental processes like brainstorming, building on the ideas of others, and creating scenarios. The role will collaborate extensively with external partners, thus we require exceptional communication and collaborative skills.
Skills Required:
Define and conduct usability evaluations according to targeted metrics and/or business problem domains. Analyze research data, present findings, and make prioritized design recommendations. Engage with key business stakeholders through innovation workshops, interviews, focus groups, etc., to understand business drivers and identify opportunities for improvement in solution design and deployment. Clearly communicate research finding. Forge common understanding of a consumer-centric experiences, using communication briefs and storyboards to ground stakeholders decision making.

Skills Preferred:
Video production software, desired, but not mandatory . Basalmiq Mockup for wire-framing/storyboarding.

MUST have a strong record of intensive, collaborative project and experience using imagery in place of words to communication intent. Experience developing artistic and digital engaging experiences using video and storyboards that offer a teaching format to enable stakeholders. Experience with vendor engagement and/or vendor proof of concept processes. Agile mindset with a focus on fast failure and learning from failure. Maturity in dealing with all levels of business and IT management including Directors and Senior Management.

Education Required:
Bachelors degree at minimum. Qualification in and/or significant experience using human centered design (design research / design thinking) research methodologies preferred.

Must be fluent in the English language. Must currently be eligible to work in the United States-no exceptions.
