Business Analyst (IT) I - Plano (DAL) - 2299300

The Business Analyst must have strong data processing and analytic skills with attention to detail and the ability to take direction from governance team members and independently produce master data process flows, role descriptions, document process flows, provide data quality metrics, trend/gap analysis, and master data training documents. This person will work in a team and take direction from the governance lead.

Main Responsibilities/Functions:
• Independently can process a task from request to completion
• Process data in an analytic fashion and produce data files in Excel with a solid attention to details
• Document and update process flows for master data processes including role and responsibility documentation
• Update training documentations such as FAQ and QRG in Word for master data processes
• Plan, execute, and follow-up on meetings with multiple key stakeholders in the master data governance area
• Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing project health analysis, significant issue tracking, and communication with project team, business lines, and management levels on a regular basis.
• Provide metrics on data quality analysis, gap analysis, trending for development or areas of improvement.
• Analysis to recognize enrichment opportunities utilizing the review, implementation, and usage of business defined rules within the data cleansing software.
• Responsible for helping to organize training for highly complex activities for the development, implementation, and maintenance of projects
• Develop and manage issue resolution process

Required Experience:
• Requirements will include business domain knowledge and details of how MDM data will be used in business processes across the enterprise including sales, marketing, finance and customer care.
• Must possess well-developed reading, writing, critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Working individually or with a project team, identifies risks and proposes contingency/mitigation plans.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to take direction from team members
• Thrives under intense work environment and get the job complete with a great attitude
• Strong organizational skills and able to plan, execute, and follow-up on tasks and required meetings to produce deliverables in the master data governance space
• Create plans for projects and report on project progress to senior level executives.
• Develop and maintain effective procedures to collect problem reports, enhancement requests, and strategic objectives for IT and Business process plans.
• Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

Desired Experience:
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, business or a related field.
• 4+ years experience with business analytics and statistical analysis with a financial services company or quantitative industry.
• Experience with report development
• Experience with large datasets and databases
• Solid project management skills
• Excellent analysis, organization and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving
• Requires solid judgment and ability to accomplish goals
• Knowledge of technologies such as Siebel CRM, SAP, Trillium, Purisma, Dunn/Bradstreet methodologies
• Experience or Knowledge of Master Data Management or Enterprise Date Management processes
• Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook Education:
• BS or MIS 4 year degree
