Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing marketing effectiveness and tracking key performance metrics. This position will be instrumental in helping the Global Marketing organization achieve an optimal marketing mix to maximize sales opportunities and support strategic initiatives. To meet this objective, the Business Analyst will need to understand the complexities of our business, and work to develop analytic models that provide strategic insights.

Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze and synthesize a wide range of inputs, including Salesforce opportunities, bookings data, campaign info, and market research; Must be comfortable working with very large datasets
• Also accountable for key operational support activities including key performance measurement, processes and documents action items for follow-up and tracking
• Prepare weekly and quarterly dashboards and reports for stakeholders, senior executives and business units
• Polished, professional attitude and the ability to build relationships across the organization
• Ability to think “outside the box” and bring new perspectives

Qualifications:
• 2+ Years of analytic experience
• College degree in a related area of study such as Quantitative Marketing, Finance, Math, Statistics or Computer Science
• Proven ability to analyze and synthesize business insight and big datasets to deliver strategic recommendations
• Exceptional with Excel, Visual Basic and SQL programming
• Adept with Tableau, Salesforce and statistical packages such as SAS, STATA or SPSS
• Proficient with financial and statistical modeling
• Embodies the work ethic and personality that thrives in a fast-paced culture with tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and matrix managed responsibilities.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with people at a variety of levels including senior executives
• Experience operating in a fast pace, rapid change environment where matrix reporting and reliance on others is the norm
• Experience in the IT industry and/or marketing function is a plus

Self-starter, willing to learn, very hands-on, good communication skills, team player, detailed oriented. Previous management consulting experience. Willing to do a wide range of tasks (from repetitive tasks to thoughtful insights).

This is a contract position and you must be available to work onsite in Palo Alto>
