Business Analyst - W2, No corp to corp

Experienced Business Analyst who under moderate supervision (as part of a project team working on our client's Intranet Migration Project), performs research and analysis (User Acceptance Testing) to support business operations for the project. Documents Issues and helps to develop recommendations to address problems/issues. Supports business side end users/key stake holders.
1. Compiles information and analyzes qualitatively and/or quantitatively, on Microsoft SharePoint Content Management “end user” Application(s).
2. Based on analysis, develops reports, proposals for action or implementation plans as necessary and presents to supervisor.
3. Resolves problems as needed to ensure that customers receive prompt, efficient service in accordance with company policies.
4. Meets with supervisor to discuss project status and present recommendations.
5. Performs special projects as requested.
6. Monitors Intranet support mailbox for over 600+ user base. This involves troubleshooting issues and timely, accurate responses with the content user, documenting incidents and corrective action follow-ups.

Candidate will receive training on SharePoint Content Management system and will be expected to:
1. Utilize that training to understand the functionality being developed for the project and test according to previously developed BRD (Business Requirements Documents)
2. Partner with the business side content owners to perform Content Entry utilizing SharePoint
3. Serve as a secondary trainer for introductory (1 day classes) being taught to (end user) content owners

Requirements:
• Must be experienced in writing and running test cases.
• Must be process oriented with a web project background.
• Looking for strong testing skills with at least 3-5 years experience in business/systems analysis with a focus on web/internet projects
• Must also be a quick study, very open to learning SharePoint CMS as a key part of the project.
• Strong customer service skills
• Must be able to gather and write business requirements documentation
• Must be able to write and run user acceptance test (UAT) cases
• Must be detail oriented and be able to project manage smaller scale projects
• Must be able to work with both business user and IT.
• Must have strong systems analysis skills and technical project management experience
• Highly motivated and a proactive learner
