Business Analyst - Scrum

Responsibilities: Perform data collection and analysis to evaluate, analyze, design, identify and/or monitor the effectiveness of business function programs and initiatives in the corporate function.

-Key member of BSD scrum team and is accountable for ensuring clear and concise requirements are developed
-Interface with stakeholders to obtain requirements. The requirements will include the business logic, expected behavior and user acceptance criteria.
-Develop requirements artifacts to be used as part of project execution
-Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
-Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
-Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
-Manage requirement changes via a change control process
-Identify, communicate and resolve issues and risks as they arise anywhere in the end to end process

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree and four years experience
- Four years experience in business/systems analysis with a focus on web/internet projects.
- Strong experience in understanding business performance metrics, business needs and capturing requirements for web application development specifically in eCommerce transactions
- Experience writing functional requirement specifications, writing use cases, test plans and cases.
- Experience creating process flow diagrams
- Awareness of current web technology and tools (e.g. Search tools, Tracking tools, etc.)
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous coding experience is a plus
- Experience with quality assurance methodology
- Project management experience
- Knowledge and experience with ITIL processes a plus
- Strong facilitation and communication skills; strong attention to detail; strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation and interview skills; strong organizing and planning skills with proven ability to multi-task; analysis and problem solving skills; negotiation skills; ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across business and technical audiences
