** A FORTUNE 500 RETAIL COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL BUSINESS ANALYST!!!

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Store Development North America Operations team for a top fashion brand in San Francisco!!!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists Sr. Manager and internal team members in the development and implementation of reporting and analytics projects to support SDNA business objectives.
o Performs metrics and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis to measure internal and external business partner performance trends.
o Produces standard weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on operating metrics and business results at the Brand, regional and district levels.
o Independently performs ad hoc decision support analysis using data and trends to make fact-based recommendations to the SDNA leadership team.
• Serves as the first point of contact for internal and external customer issues across Store Maintenance and Construction. Demonstrates attention-to-detail in managing issue logs – from initial report through resolution.
• Understands field business processes and operational strategies to identify reporting and analytics opportunities to improve cost, quality or schedule performance.
• Establishes strong rapport with vendors and internal teams that results in improved responsiveness to the needs of Gap Inc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2+ years of relevant experience (customer service or statistical, financial or other quantitative analysis).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• CUSTOMER SERVICE-Ability to establish strong rapport with customers, genuinely conveying a sense of empathy and urgency in driving resolution. Viewed as professional, friendly, quick, and knowledgeable.
• PROBLEM SOLVER-Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem solving skills – ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of data, resolve problems of moderate complexity, and clearly articulate relevant conclusions/recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A self-starter with proven ability to effectively and consistently deliver on competing priorities in a fast paced dynamic environment with limited guidance.
• Microsoft Office; ADVANCED EXCEL proficiency required; Access proficiency preferred
