Looking for a freelance Branding Consultant for their an Independent School in Alexandria.

The ideal candidate is responsible for upgrading and creating content to help brand and market the school to prospective parents,new audiences, and be able to illustrate how they’re unique in the market 

Client: Information 

Co-educational, Kindergarten through 8th grade - Independent, nonsectarian day school -200 students -Student/teacher ratio of 7:1 -Average class size of 13 - Rigorous academic curriculum designed to prepare students for the challenges of the twenty-first century -Robust music, performing and fine arts curriculum -Dynamic service learning program -Soccer, basketball, swimming, cross country, tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, and softball interscholastic teams -Spanish language instruction in all grades - 1:1 iPads in all grades, K-8 -Innovation Lab with 3D printers, video production equipment, and maker space - ACDS graduates from 2014-2017 are currently attending 38 different high schools -Lunch program available for a fee 


Provide branding guidelines and strategic vision to help the company reach new audiences and communicate their unique offerings 

Not looking to overhaul all marketing completely,. They want to change their look a little, but mostly will handle ad design, tag lines, slight wording of content—they do a lot of the writing in-house 


Branding knowledge, ability to research, and develop a strategy 

Someone who will take the time to dive in and truly get to know their school and act as a consultant on how to best position them 

Willingness to learn about them, figure out who they are and what makes their school unique 

They have printed ads and viewbooks, website, social media 

Wants to launch into more online marketing 

This is not a complete rebranding, but you will be upgrading existing content and updating and improving their existing branding strategy

Objective: How do we reach the families that don’t think about independent schools as an option for their children's education—Get on their radar.

Not looking to overhaul all branding but rather change aesthetic a little, but most work will involve ad design, taglines, wording—branded content creation in order to reach the families that don’t think about independent schools— Get on their radar 

There is currently growth in the organization/school and the school wants to make the community aware of their unique programs by branding school more effectively.
